A l’occasion de la fin de sa tournée, et pour remercier les gens du soutien rencontré autour de Post Tropical son deuxième album (qui fête ses 1 an ses jours-ci), James Vincent McMorrow met à disposition le live de son concert au Ace Hotel à Los Angeles. Complètement gratuitement, sans même un mail à rentrer.
Si vous ne connaissez pas, c’est l’occase d’aller jeter une oreille. On est dans un mélange de folk/pop avec parfois des accents plus rock, le tout porté par une voix caméléon hypnotique qui peut se faire aussi bien gutturale/écorchée qu’aérienne et pleine de clarté…

We recorded our final show of tour last year at the Ace Hotel Theatre in Los Angeles and it turned out great. So here it is, FREE to download no strings attached, for everyone who wants it. All I ask is that if you’re feeling it, that you share it. I’m incredibly proud of this show that we took all over the world for the last 12 months, and I want as many people to hear it as possible.
Thank you to anyone who came to a show, bought/listened to Post Tropical, stopped me on the street to say hello and take a photo, or generally just made my life better in this last year.
